The new AET REMOULD line begins with ‘Lochagos’, a sapphire watch based on Audemars Piguet, infused with the Spartan spirit of strength and valour. As the greatest warriors of their time, the Spartans had a strength unmatched by any other city-state, and in battle after battle, the Spartan warrior’s bravery and courage kept their opponents at bay.
The new watch’s oversized dial and octagonal bezel create a majestic, overbearing image in keeping with the Spartan design philosophy. Red and yellow are the main colours representing blood and armour. The red dial ring symbolises Spartan fervour and authority. The central seconds hand and the chronograph hands all use this colour, making every observation of time a sensation.
The chronograph rings at 12 and 6 o’clock on the dial intimate the Spartan warrior’s shield, decorated with the iconic meander pattern in black and yellow colour for a very solemn and majestic mood. The back also has the same striking colour combination to echo the design of the dial, and further enhance the visual aesthetics.
The crown is a combination of metal and sapphire, also incorporating the AET REMOULD logo.
With its colourful fluoroelastomer straps, the timepiece not only dazzles but also highlights the Spartan spirit.
