The in-house built caliber is produced with an extremely high degree of effort: Screwed gold chatons, beveled edges, a twin mainspring barrel-it is practically a celebration of the finest Glashutte watchmaking. Hand-engraved on the balance cock: “Lovingly produced in Glashutte.”
“Lovingly produced in Glashutte” is individually hand-engraved onto the balance cock. A greeting that also proves that the best is often hidden from sight.
The dial only shows half of this watch’s beauty. Visible through the sapphire crystal glass, the caliber DUW 2002 displays fine sunburst polishing, gold chatons, hand-beveled edges, swan neck fine adjustment, and the hand-engraved balance cock.
The hand-wound caliber DUW 2002: Exclusively developed for the model Lux, handcrafted in the NOMOS Atelier for gold watches. Once wound, it ticks for 84 hours, so half a week.
