In this new variant, the dial is a mesmerising galvanic grey and has a finely grained embossing. The display discs of the Panorama Date show white numerals on a matt blue background and ensure optimal readability. The Roman numerals in solid gold are coated in blue while the elegant hour and minute hands in steel are traditionally blued. The applied numerals and the velvety surface texture lend the face of this model exciting contrasts and visual depth.
Functional & aesthetic
The moon phase display harmoniously combines functionality and aesthetics: at Glashutte Original, the moon disc is also elaborately manufactured in-house. In this model, it is made of German silver and galvanised in blue. Then two round moons are diamond-turned, which gives them their curved shape and shine. Although the moon disc has two moons, the small cut-out in the dial always shows only one moon in its various phases.
