This minimalistic watch for men is presented in a 40 mm diameter stainless steel case and impresses thanks to its simple and elegant design. Polished and satin-brushed surfaces on the case reflect the light, while the manufacture’s signature Double-G logo adorns the finely fluted crown. A black Louisiana Alligator leather strap or alternatively a grey or blue synthetic fabric strap ensure a secure fit on the wrist.

The hand-crafted dial with delicate silver graining has galvanic black laser-cut indexes with a matching railroad chapter ring. The fine minute numerals, inspired by historic pocket watches, have also been laser-cut and galvanised black. Blued, pear-shaped hands and a filigree seconds hand complete the classic overall appearance of this elegant timepiece.
High quality finishes
The characteristic Glashutte finishes and construction features of the Calibre 36 automatic movement are recognisable at first glance through the sapphire crystal case back: the typical three-quarter plate and skeletonised rotor, the elegant stripe and perlage finishes, blued screws, as well as the refined decorative finishing on the wheels and rotor track.
Performance & precision
Thanks to a silicon balance spring, this model remains unaffected by magnetic fields and changes in temperature. A single spring barrel ensures a running time of at least 100 hours. The innovative bayonet mounting of the movement in the case provides superb stability and shock resistance. Following assembly, each Senator Excellence is subjected to a 24-day cycle of tests using the most demanding of criteria to examine and document its excellent quality.
