This model’s hand-crafted dial impresses with its striking design and deep black colour, the result of a galvanisation process. Every step in the process is subject to a specific standard designed to prevent even minimal variations in colour. Equally rigorous guidelines govern the finely grooved “vinyl type” patterns on the auxiliary dials of the off-centre hour and minute displays, and on the small second.

The asymmetric design of this timepiece makes it a real eye-catcher. Like all Pano models, the face of the PanoMaticLunar reflects the harmonious proportions of the Golden Ratio. While the left half of the dial hosts the hour, minute and small second displays, the right half presents a splendid moon phase display and Glashutte Original’s signature Panorama Date.
Exquisite mechanism
The PanoMaticLunar is powered by the Calibre 90-02 automatic movement, which has a 42-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal case back provides an unobstructed view of the characteristic features of Glashutte watchmaking, including the hand-engraved balance bridge, screw-mounted gold chatons, blued screws, the characteristic three-quarter plate with Glashutte stripe finish, and the duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, which was developed by Glashutte Original.
