An invitation to travel. In honor of Claude Monet’s stay in Venice in 1908, the Reverso Tribute Enamel takes you to the shores of the Adriatic Sea and to our Atelier des Metiers Rares. On the front, the Art Deco case in white gold reveals a dial guilloche with a subtle herringbone pattern (360 lines) featuring blue Grand Feu enamel. The luminous, translucent colour requires almost 9 hours of lapidary, 5 coats of enamelling and 7 kiln passages at around 800 C. On the reverse, our craftsmen spent 70 hours enamelling and undertook 15 kiln cycles (at up to 800 C) to reproduce a famous canvas by the impressionist painter over a surface measuring 2 cm2: sunset over San Giorgio Maggiore. Limited to 10 pieces, the watch comes with a black alligator strap.
